A single class
$11.00One class, no pack
More expensive per class than either pack, and that is not a trick to push you toward a pack — it is what one class costs when it is not bought in bulk. If you want to try exactly one before deciding anything, this is the honest way to do it.
The expiry, stated plainly
Credits expire 12 months after the day you buy the pack. After that they are gone and we cannot reinstate them.
We would rather put that in large type here than let you find it in the terms. Two things we do to make it harder to lose track: the purchase email states the expiry date in full, not "12 months", and we email you when a pack has a month left and again when it has a week.
If a pack has expired with credits on it and something genuinely got in the way — illness, a bereavement, a stretch where practising was not possible — email and say so. We are a very small business and we can use judgement. What we cannot do is publish a policy that says credits never really expire, because then the published term would be false.
Everything else about buying
- One-time payment. No subscription, no membership, no auto-renewal and no card stored. The Payment Terms page says so in full.
- Booking confirmation within a few minutes, by email, with the joining link and the date and time written out including the time zone.
- 14-day refund on unused credits, for any reason including changing your mind. Credits you have already used are not refundable, which is the only limit. See the Refund Policy.
- Payment is handled by a third-party processor. We never see or store your card number.
- The price shown is the price charged. No booking fee, no platform fee, no processing surcharge.
- Credits are not transferable between people, because the class has a cap of 14 and we need to know who is in the room.
Which pack, and how the arithmetic works
The ten-class pack is a dollar a class cheaper and that is the whole of the difference. There is no extra access, no priority booking, no bonus anything. We mention that because packaging usually implies a tier and here there is not one.
The useful way to choose is by how long the credits will take you to use rather than by the saving. At one class a week, ten credits last about two and a half months — comfortably inside the 12 months. At one a fortnight they last five months, still fine. At one a month they last ten, which is cutting it close enough that the five-pack is the better buy even though it costs more per class.
Against that: there is no discount for buying two five-packs instead of one ten-pack, and nothing stops you buying a second pack while the first still has credits on it. The expiry runs per pack from the day that pack was bought, and credits are used oldest first, so a second pack does not endanger the first.
If you genuinely cannot tell, buy the five. It is the smaller commitment, the per-class difference over five classes is five dollars, and we would rather you bought a small pack and came back than bought a large one and felt you had to use it up.
What a credit does and does not include
- Includes: one live class of any length on the schedule, taught by a person who can see you, in a group capped at 14. A joining link by email. A returned credit if we cancel, or if you cancel more than 24 hours ahead.
- Does not include: a recording, because nothing is recorded. One-to-one time, because we do not teach privately. A practice plan, a written programme, or anything personalised — it is a group class. Any kind of assessment of your body.
Before you buy anything
The nine pose guides are free and will stay free, and between them they cover most of what a class does. If what you want is the information, take it; a pack buys you a live teacher looking at you, which is a different thing and not everybody needs it.
And if you are not sure the teaching suits you, read how a class runs first. It describes the whole hour minute by minute, including the parts people dislike.
If you would rather ask a person, email and describe your situation — what you can and cannot do comfortably, what you are hoping for, what time of day works. We will tell you which class to start with, or that none of them is right for you, and we do mean the second half of that. Turning somebody away at the start costs us one sale and saves a refund, an awkward email and somebody's wasted Tuesday morning.
